As with any surgical procedure, it is imperative to choose a surgeon who is not only qualified to perform your surgery but one who is highly skilled and who has significant experience in the procedure. We have performed hundreds of successful procedures using our specialized techniques.

BOARD CERTIFICATION
When considering a surgeon it is imperative to understand the board certification process and requirements. Dr. Oliver Simmons is certified by American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and by the ABFPRS, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Board certification signifies that a surgeon has achieved the rigorous educational, training, and surgical requirements of that board including internships and significant surgical experience. Dr. Simmons is also Fellowship trained - which means that he has several more years of surgical training and experience than surgeons who are not fellowship trained. His experience includes a Craniofacial & Microvascular Surgery Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the Louisiana State Hospital Health Sciences Center.
